Level 3 Network Engineer - Juniper Specialist

Role Overview:

Experience: Minimum 7 Years

Qualification: Graduation

Support Level: L3

Location: Pune

Shift: 24*7 (Night shifts included)

Position: Permanent

As a Level 3 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for advanced network design, troubleshooting, and optimization, with a strong emphasis on Juniper hardware and software platforms. You will serve as a senior escalation point for complex network issues and play a key role in maintaining high availability and performance across enterprise network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network solutions using Juniper devices (MX, EX, QFX, SRX, PTX).
Perform advanced troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN configurations.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical network incidents.
Configure and manage Juniper firewalls and security protocols.
Collaborate with architecture teams to develop scalable network designs.
Monitor network performance and proactively implement improvements.
Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during escalations.
Participate in on-call rotation and change management processes.

Required Skills &Experience:
5+ years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years in a Level 2 & 3 support role.
Deep expertise in Juniper Networks platforms and Junos OS.
Strong command of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and switching technologies.
Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
Familiarity with network security concepts and firewall configurations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications &Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
JNCIP or JNCIE certification (preferred).
Additional certifications like CCNP/CCIE (a plus).
