Experience: 5+ years of experience in Learning consulting.
Role and Responsibilities:The role of a Learning Consultant is to utilize knowledge of adult learning and learning sciences and apply learning design standards, so client receives optimum results from investments in learning solutions.
Responsibilities include:• Review the business objectives of a learning request• Validate the request addresses a real learning need• Educate and coach on leading practices• Support the learning needs analysis (LNA) by gathering additional data (e.g.: audience analysis, task analysis, learning activity reports, learner and facilitator feedback, etc.)• Evaluate preliminary learning solution ideas and offer additional input for the learning design concept• Support the learning design process by applying design thinking, leading practices, and experience with similar learning solutions• Confirm the budget is sufficient for designing, developing, and deploying an effective learning solution• Assess capabilities of learning solution providers (vendors), identify alternative vendors, assist in vendor selection, and liaise between client and vendor when necessary• Suggest measurement strategy that demonstrates business impact of the learning solution• Manage project quality and support continuous improvement process• Collaborate across Client learning teams & vendors• Acting as a connector to key initiatives• Supporting client in realizing strategic objectives e.g. Increasing MSP engagement
