Experience:

7-10 years in Business Development, preferably in Building Materials, with experience working with Architects, Interior Designers, or Institutional/Project Sales.

Job Summary:

Drive top-line sales and revenue growth by engaging with architects, specifiers, contractors, and customers. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and managing existing accounts. Focus on project-based sales, specification leads, and strategic partnerships to boost profitability and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead institutional and project sales in the building materials space.
• Develop strategies to engage architects, designers, and contractors for specification-based sales.
• Identify new leads, map market potential, and convert opportunities through networking and market research.
• Retain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services.
• Analyze competitors and strategize countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for lead conversion and revenue generation.
• Achieve targets for sales, revenue, and customer experience.

Key Skills:

Business development, project management, sales strategy, relationship building, negotiation, market mapping, customer engagement, specification selling.

Education:

Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant field.
