JOB DETAILS e of our clients, a reputed oil & gas company headquartered in Chennai, is looking out for an Internal auditor. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement Responsibilities 01) Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations 02) Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans 03) Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc 04) Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process 05) Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement 06) Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings 07) Maintain open communication with management and audit committee 08) Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum 09) Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions 10) Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards 11) Add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Requirements 01) Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor 02) Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases 03) Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports 04) Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations 05) High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills 06) Sound independent judgement 07) Hands-on problem solving skills with a drive to deliver quality work. 08) Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills. 09) Be able to work well in diverse teams composed of people with varied backgrounds. 10) Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
