Position: Senior Executive - Accounts Payables

Location: Mohali

Position type: Full-Time


Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive - Accounts Payables to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and expertise in validating and processing supplier invoices. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.


Objectives of this role:

  • Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
  • Comply with national and local financial regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
  • Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
  • Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation.
  • Assist senior financial officers as needed.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the AP function through automation, technology implementation, and best practice adoption.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure Monthly closing activity, closing books with correct GL and reconciliations.


Qualifications & Skills required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations (AP Profile).
  • Educational Qualification: MBA, M.com, BBA, B.com.
  • MS Office – Outlook, Advance Excel, word, PPT.
  • Complete understanding of accounting & financial operations.
  • SAP FICO.
  • Proven experience in managing accounts receivable and payable functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
