Job Description We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Executive (Level 2 Contributor) to drive franchise acquisition for a reputed Continuing Education Services brand in India. This role blends market research, lead generation, and relationship management to identify, qualify, and onboard high-potential franchise partners. The ideal candidate will understand the nuances of the continuing education sector, be comfortable discussing business investments, and be skilled at guiding prospects through a structured sales funnel until successful onboarding.

  • Key Responsibilities
    1. Market Research & Territory Intelligence
      • Conduct structured market research to identify high-potential geographies and investor segments for franchise acquisition.
      • Analyze competitor networks, industry trends, and regional opportunities to shape lead-generation strategies.
      • Maintain updated market intelligence reports for management and marketing teams.
    1. Lead Generation & Qualification
      • Source prospective franchisees through digital campaigns, franchise portals, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
      • Qualify leads against predefined criteria (financial capability, domain interest, location readiness, operational involvement).
      • Engage in consultative discussions to educate prospects on the franchise model, investment structure, and ROI potential.
    1. Sales Funnel Management
      • Nurture leads from first contact to agreement signing, ensuring smooth handoffs to the onboarding team.
      • Maintain accurate lead status, notes, and interaction history in the CRM.
      • Collaborate with marketing to improve campaign targeting and messaging based on field feedback.
    1. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
      • Track and report KPIs such as lead volume, conversion rates, time-to-close, and territory coverage.
      • Suggest process refinements to improve lead quality and closure speed.
      • Share competitor intelligence and prospect feedback with leadership for strategy refinement.
  • Key Skills & Qualifications
    • Experience: 2–4 years in business development, lead generation, or sales, preferably within continuing education, vocational training, or professional services.
    • Familiarity with franchise business models, especially in the Indian education sector.
    • Strong research and sourcing skills using online databases, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and franchise portals.
    • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Zoho, Freshsales, HubSpot) and MS Office tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with investor prospects.
    • Target-driven with the ability to manage multiple prospects and territories simultaneously.
