We are looking for a Senior Manager - HR who will lead and execute our human resource

strategies. This pivotal role will have strategic direction, encompassing areas such as succession

planning, talent management, organisational performance, training and development, and

compensation.This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and

capabilities of individuals within the NGO, ultimately contributing to the achievement of its

mission and objectives.


Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:

● Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including

Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement,

Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and

management of the HR budget.

● Strategic HR Planning:

● Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

● Performance Management:

● Employee Relations:

● Manage employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and

workplace investigations.

● Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Advise and strategies on the

development of effective employment policies across the organisation.

● Compensation and Benefits:

● Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages and benefits

offerings.

● Monitor and analyze trends in compensation and benefits to make recommendations for

improvement

● Learning and Development

● Collaborate with department heads, program managers, and volunteers to identify

learning needs, gather insights, and align L&D efforts with organisational priorities.

● Develop mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives,

including collecting feedback, measuring outcomes, and making improvements based on

data.

● HR Policy Development and Compliance


Who we are looking for:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Nonprofit

Management, or a related field.

● 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role .

Preferably experience in designing and managing learning and development programs,

preferably within the nonprofit or NGO sector.

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

● Demonstrated commitment to social impact, social justice, and the values of the NGO

sector.

● Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), online collaboration tools, and

e-learning platforms.
