About the Role:

We are seeking a
hands-on Program/Delivery Manager
to lead large-scale engagements across geographies for our IT consulting and services division. This role is focused on driving delivery excellence, managing governance and financials (including GM and billing hygiene), and leading distributed teams in different engagement models.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, experienced in both onshore and offshore delivery, and passionate about optimizing team productivity, client satisfaction, and profitability. NOTE: Must Have Services/ consulting background

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-project client programs.
  • Manage project lifecycle different engagement models with strong understanding of scope, estimation, change control, and budgeting.
  • Drive team productivity, delivery timelines, and gross margin (GM) performance across onshore and offshore units.
  • Lead and retain high-performing teams of 50+ people across locations.
  • Identify and fix billing leakages, ensuring 100% revenue capture through regular audits and stakeholder alignment.
  • Champion delivery governance through clear KPIs, dashboards, and cadence reviews with clients and internal leadership.
  • Own escalations and risk mitigation while maintaining above-average client satisfaction.
  • Implement agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) as needed; flexibility to work with hybrid models.
  • Enable accurate and timely reporting of program performance, resource planning, and utilization metrics.
  • Coordinate with recruitment, operations, and finance to maintain delivery continuity and margin discipline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of total experience in IT delivery, with at least 4 years in program or delivery management roles in consulting/service environments.
  • Experience managing teams of 30+ across onsite-offshore models, primarily under T&M engagements.
  • Sound knowledge of gross margin (GM) calculations, team pyramids, and delivery financials — especially in staff augmentation and consulting models.
  • Proficiency in handling billing hygiene, reducing leakages, and increasing billable utilization.
  • Above-average communication and confidence when interacting with clients, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Working experience with tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Confluence, or similar.
  • Proven understanding of agile frameworks and practical implementation in enterprise setups.
  • PMP / Prince2 / Certified Scrum Master/ Agile Coach preferred.
  • Strong team leadership, retention, and mentoring capabilities — including performance management and upskilling.
  • Comfortable managing hybrid environments and collaborating across distributed teams.
