Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong operations mindset and people-first approach. This role is focused on driving day-to-day people processes , ensuring smooth HR support to business teams, and actively resolving workforce-related challenges. You will be a key on-ground HR presence , ensuring policies, processes, and engagement efforts translate into a high-trust, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers for all HR-related queries (excluding onboarding and recruitment).
  • Drive day-to-day employee life cycle processes – confirmation, internal transfers, exit management, disciplinary processes, etc.
  • Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partner with functional managers to resolve absenteeism, discipline, attendance, and workplace conduct issues .
  • Monitor shift planning, manpower movement, rostering, and floor-level employee support , in coordination with business teams.
  • Execute employee engagement and connect initiatives , including skip-level meetings, feedback sessions, and welfare programs.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy and help track metrics like attrition, headcount movement, exits, and floor trends.
  • Support HR audits, policy implementation, and compliance adherence .
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (admin, compliance, facilities) for employee support and issue resolution.
  • Provide input into continuous improvement of HR processes to ensure efficient and employee-friendly operations.
  • Must be open to frequent travel across multiple business locations or sites .

Required Skills & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a people-facing HRBP or HR generalist role with strong operational exposure .
  • Experience working with on-ground business teams
  • Strong knowledge of labor law basics, workplace compliance, and disciplinary handling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, spreadsheets, and basic data reporting.
