Today, Kauvery is a multi-specialty hospital chain with 2250+ beds in six locations including Trichy, Chennai, Salem, Hosur, Tirunelveli and Bengaluru. With twelve hospitals and a workforce of over 8000+ Kauvery’s mission is to provide exemplary secondary and tertiary care.Our Vision

Job Description
The Nurse Educator will design, implement, and evaluate educational programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of nursing staff. This role focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning, improving patient care outcomes, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Program Development :Develop and deliver orientation programs for new nursing staff.Plan and execute ongoing training sessions, workshops, and seminars for skill enhancement.Create and update curricula based on evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.Clinical Training & Mentorship :Provide hands-on training to nursing staff in clinical procedures and patient care.Act as a mentor and resource for nurses, supporting their professional growth.Evaluate clinical competencies through observation and feedback.Policy and Compliance :Ensure nursing education aligns with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.Educate staff on new guidelines, technologies, and practices.Quality Improvement :Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to identify skill gaps and training needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through feedback and performance metrics.Resource Management :Develop and maintain educational materials, manuals, and online resources.Stay updated with advancements in nursing education and technology.Collaboration :Work with multidisciplinary teams to address educational needs across departments.Partner with academic institutions for student nurse training and internships.
Skills and CompetenciesStrong communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in clinical skills and nursing procedures.Ability to assess learning needs and tailor educational programs.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
