About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager of Project Planning to join our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of project planning. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the specified timelines and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of managing complex projects.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Lead a team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, procurement, and construction, to define project scope, requirements, and dependencies.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams including Leasing, Finance, Operations to sign off on various stages
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or roadblocks to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Manage project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring adherence to cost estimates and implementing cost-saving measures whenever possible.
  • Evaluate and mitigate project risks, proactively identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans to minimize their impact.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing among project teams.
  • Implement and refine project management processes and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management, incorporating innovative approaches into project planning and execution.
  • Weekly, Monthly MIS to reported for individual projects
  • Prepare and manage design programmes in detail and signoff on all stages


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project planning and execution, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
