Power Platform Developer (Hybrid) - 3 days work from Office About the Role We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to join our Digital Tax Team. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse) to automate and enhance tax processes across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power Platform development, a keen interest in process automation, and the ability to work closely with tax subject matter experts to deliver impactful solutions. Some solutions may require advanced customization using JavaScript, so experience in extending Power Apps functionality with code is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven). · Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline tax processes and reduce manual effort. · Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and other business systems. · Extend functionality using JavaScript (e.G., custom event handlers in Model-driven apps). · Collaborate with tax professionals to gather requirements, define user stories, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. · Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements. · Support the deployment, testing, documentation, and training of new tools. · Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of existing Power Platform solutions. Key Skills and Experience · 5-7 years of experience developing solutions with Power Platform. · Strong knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse. · Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 integrations. · Experience using JavaScript to customize Power Platform solutions, especially Model-driven apps. · Understanding of ALM practices in Power Platform (solution management, versioning, DevOps). · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. · Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Skills · Experience working in tax, finance, or professional services. · Knowledge of Power Platform licensing, environment management, and governance. Qualifications · Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field – or equivalent experience. · Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.G., PL-100, PL-400) are a plus.
