The HR Head - India is a critical leadership role based in Mumbai, reporting to Regional P&C Head, APAC. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and P&C APAC team, collaborating closely with business leaders to drive our ambitious growth plans in the Indian market.

What will you be doing?

As the HR Head for India, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns seamlessly with GN's overall business objectives. You will lead a team of HR professionals, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will champion employee engagement, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment that empowers our people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and global initiatives with country
  • Facilitated the organization's structural planning and reorganization efforts.
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and learning and development
  • Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Support in the development and implementation of global HR programs
  • Partner with business leaders to provide HR guidance and support
  • Provide strategic leadership and effective management to the Human Resources team in India
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Experience working in a multinational company, preferably in hearing healthcare, audio technology industry.
