Job Description: React Developer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced React Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our talented development team. As a React Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using React.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive the success of our digital products.

Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development

a. Develop and implement responsive web applications using React.js and other modern web technologies.

b. Translate design wireframes and mockups into efficient, visually appealing, and interactive user interfaces.

c. Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and debugging.

2. UI/UX Collaboration:

a. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and user-friendly interfaces.

b. Participate in design discussions and provide technical insights to enhance the usability and functionality of frontend components.

3. Component Library and Codebase Maintenance:

a. Build and maintain reusable and scalable React components and libraries.

b. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the codebase, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

c. Contribute to architectural decisions and provide recommendations for improving the frontend infrastructure.

4. Integration and API Consumption:

a. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring data synchronization and smooth communication.

b. Collaborate with backend developers to define API specifications and troubleshoot integration issues.

5. Performance Optimization:

a. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing frontend applications for speed and efficiency.

b. Conduct performance testing and implement optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.

6. Technical Leadership and Mentoring:

a. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and skill development.

b. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development, sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.2. 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js.3. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.4. Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles, along with experience in popular state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).5. Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).6. Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.7. Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.8. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).9. Familiarity with backend technologies, APIs, and integration patterns.10. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex frontend issues.11. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.12. Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.13. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.14. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.16. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but a plus)

1. Experience with React Native framework, native app development for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Java/Kotlin).2. Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js or Ruby on Rails.

The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is highly valued.2.
