Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the web platform for both Desktop and Mobile (PWA). The platform will be primarily content and commerce-based, closely integrated with the core eCommerce platform.


Job Descriptions:

  • Specification, Development, and Debugging: Develop web applications with robust specifications and perform debugging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with back-end development, product, and UX design teams to implement web product requirements.
  • Reusable Libraries and Frameworks: Create reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks. Stay updated with the latest technologies.
  • Product Direction: Contribute to the direction and innovation of web products.
  • Engineering Skills: Apply top-tier engineering skills to create innovative web experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build: Create advanced applications for both Desktop and Mobile web platforms.
  • Support SRE Team: Assist the Site Reliability Engineering team in deploying features or fixes at any time as needed.
  • Sprint Execution: Aid the leadership team in the smooth execution of sprints.
  • Maintain SLA: Ensure service level agreements for bug fixing are met.
  • Tech-Stack Learning: Quickly learn any new frontend-related technology stacks as required.
  • Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders and team members to ensure smooth sprint execution.


Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years in Frontend Web Development with proficiency in:
  • React.js or Vue.js
  • JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
  • HTML/CSS
  • Node.js
  • Client and Server-side rendering
  • Web accessibility
  • GitHub
  • Build tools
  • Lint tools


Skills

Core Technical Skills:

  • Client-Server Communications: Proficiency with REST/Sockets/Web Services.
  • Object-Oriented Programming: Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design skills (OOA/OOD), and design patterns.
  • User Experience: Understanding of user experience and usability aspects.
  • eCommerce Domain: Familiarity with the eCommerce domain is beneficial.
  • Programming Practices: Adherence to clean code, DRY, and SOLID principles.
  • Unit Testing: Experience with unit testing.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an agile environment.


Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Essential for troubleshooting and developing innovative solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Crucial for clear interactions with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
