We are looking for a skilled and dynamic

Fashion Merchandiser

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current market trends, consumer behavior, and supply chain management. They will be responsible for planning, buying, and promoting products to maximize sales and profitability .Key Responsibilities:

Analyze sales data and competitor activity to forecast product demand.Product Planning:Collaborate with the design and production teams to curate collections that align with market trends and brand identity.Plan product assortments, styles, and quantities for each season.Create detailed merchandising strategies, including pricing, promotions, and product placement.

Buying and Vendor Coordination:Source fabrics, materials, and finished products by coordinating with vendors and suppliers.Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.Ensure timely procurement and availability of inventory.Inventory Management:Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turnover.Address overstock or understock issues by developing inventory control strategies.

Sales and Retail Support:Collaborate with retail teams to ensure effective product presentation in stores or online platforms.Assist in visual merchandising by designing attractive store displays.Provide insights and feedback to sales teams to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.Work closely with design, production, marketing, and sales teams to align merchandising plans with business objectives.

Performance Monitoring:Analyze product performance and profitability using sales and consumer data.Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics, including sales, inventory levels, and market trends.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, or a related field.Experience:

3-5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a related role within the fashion industry.Skills:Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and retail strategies.Analytical skills with expertise in sales forecasting and inventory management.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or merchandising software.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Personal Attributes:

Passion for fashion and a strong commercial awareness.Creativity with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
