Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven " Assistant General Manager/Senior Manager – Supply Chainto lead our end-to-end supply chain operations for theFuture Technology (Printed Electronics)business. The ideal candidate will be responsible forstrategic material management ,production planning ,cost optimizationandsupplier development , ensuring seamless alignment between demand forecasts, procurement and manufacturing operations. Job Title: Assistant General Manager / Senior Manager – Supply Chain Business Division:Future Technology – Printed Electronics Function / Department:Supply Chain Experience:Minimum 10 Years of relevant experience in Supply Chain ManagementKey Responsibilities : 1. Material Planning & Production Support Lead material and production planning activities aligned with project schedules and business demand. Conduct project-wise forecast analysis and ensure availability of materials for bothnew product developmentandmass production . Monitor inventory status including on-hand, open POs, and material in-transit to maintain optimal inventory levels. OverseeMRP runs ,PR/PO releases , and ensure system accuracy and compliance with internal controls.2. Procurement & Supplier Management Drivevendor identification, evaluation, and developmentfor both local and international suppliers. Conduct supplier assessments based on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance parameters. Negotiate commercial terms (payment terms, incoterms – CIF/FOB, etc.) ensuring cost competitiveness and risk mitigation. Explorealternate suppliers and partsfor cost reduction and supply continuity. Identify potential sourcing partners inChina and other low-cost regionsfor new and existing parts.3. Cost Optimization & Simulation Performraw material cost simulationat partwise and project-wise levels. Executecost-saving initiativesthrough alternate sourcing, process optimization, and logistics improvements. Drive initiatives forlogistics cost reductionthrough mode optimization and strategic supplier collaboration.4. Project Demand & Development Support Ensure visibility of raw material readiness fornew project launchesandongoing development activities . Collaborate with project teams to align material timelines with development milestones. ManageSutsnax item developmentand ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.5. Inventory & Risk Management ManageEOL (End-of-Life)materials and shelf-life revalidation processes. Maintain visibility of critical materials and ensure proactive planning for shortages. Balance global holiday calendars and supplier lead times with material forecasts.Required Skills & Competencies : Strong knowledge ofMaterial Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Planningprocesses. Proficiency inSAP (MM/PP modules)and advanced Excel/analytical tools. Excellentvendor negotiation and contract managementskills. Deep understanding ofcost modeling ,inventory optimizationandproduction planning . Proven track record inproject-based procurementandcost reduction initiatives . Excellent communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. Willingness totravelas required for supplier audits, project reviews and business coordination.Preferred Background : Engineering Graduate with minimum 10 years of relevant experience inElectronics, Consumer Durables (White Goods), Medical Devices or Automotivemanufacturing sectors. Hands-on experience managingPrinted Electronics / Future Technology / Advanced Materialcategories preferred.
