PMO Analyst

Your place in the teamAs a PMO Analyst, you will be a critical player in the smooth running of our portfolio of projects and the PMO’s initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting programme and project delivery teams and providing information, analysis, metrics, and insights to senior management.
Responsibilities• Work with the PMO’s management to create, maintain and operate the processes, procedures, templates, and toolsets that form the governance framework for programme and project delivery.• Manage and co-ordinate data-gathering, analysis and reporting for key project metrics, deliverables, and milestones• Support the delivery of PMO improvement initiatives, and champion the embedding of PMO standards and practices across the business• Maintain project / portfolio documents and artefacts and provide training and first-line support on agreed PMO procedures, processes, and tools• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure timely provision of accurate information in line with the agreed reporting cycle to improve visibility and project health• Assist in the preparation and execution of project audits and assurance reviews
QualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant field.
Essential ExperienceKnowledge of PMO types, functions, theories, and practice including maturity modelsCompetent user of the MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OutlookStrong analysis and critical thinking skills.Experience with project or programme co-ordination / administration.Ability to prioritize / balance key prioritiesExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience• Previous experience in information technology projects.
