Position Overview:

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer specializing in air conditioning systems. The role focuses on ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for process evaluation, identifying defects, and implementing solutions to maintain and enhance product performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Quality Assurance :
  • Develop and implement quality control processes for AC manufacturing and assembly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.


  1. Root Cause Analysis :
  • Investigate product defects and quality issues.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.


  1. Compliance and Standards :
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality metrics, reports, and audits.


  1. Continuous Improvement :
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards.


  1. Supplier and Vendor Management :
  • Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality.
  • Monitor supplier performance and suggest improvements.


  1. Training and Development :
  • Train production and assembly teams on quality standards and procedures.
  • Develop educational materials and conduct regular workshops.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Educational Background :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (preferred).


  • Experience :
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance for air conditioning.


  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and control charts.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, cooling systems, and related components.


  • Soft Skills :
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


Additional Information

  • Work Environment : Manufacturing and testing facility.
  • Travel : Occasional travel to supplier sites and field locations may be required.
