QA/QC Engineer
Position Summary:
The QA/QC Officer in the Manastu Space is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and systems comply with the company's quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. This role involves performing quality control inspections, audits, and assessments, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of aerospace components, materials, and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Verify product conformance to engineering specifications and drawings.
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and other technical inspections as required.
Identify defects and document non-conformance reports (NCRs) with detailed corrective actions.
Ensure that manufacturing and assembly processes adhere to internal and regulatory quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, audits, and other quality assurance activities.
Prepare and submit detailed quality control reports, summarizing inspection findings and corrective actions.
Prepare SOP’s, QAP, Process for chart for New Product development.
Ensure proper documentation of deviations, rework, and scrap.
Ensure that all products comply with relevant industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001 regulations.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process improvements.
Assist in customer complaint resolution, providing detailed reports of investigations and corrective actions taken.
Ensure that all measurement and test equipment is calibrated and maintained to appropriate standards.
Coordinate periodic equipment calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Quality Auditor) are a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
Experience with NDT methods and tools (e.g., ultrasonic testing, X-ray inspection) is preferred.
Skills :
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, tools, and methodologies.
Proficiency in using quality control software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of failure analysis, risk assessment, and corrective actions.
