About the Role:
As a Credit Manager at FinLender, you will lead and oversee the credit analysis and risk assessment processes for our lending activities. Your role will involve managing a team of credit analysts, ensuring comprehensive and accurate credit evaluations, and making key lending decisions that align with the company's risk appetite and financial objectives.

Position: Credit Manager/ Assistant Credit Manager (On-site)
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: No bar for the right candidate
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Oversee daily operations and workflow within the credit department.
Review and approve detailed credit analyses and risk assessments conducted by credit analysts. Evaluate complex financial data and loan applications to determine creditworthiness.
Formulate and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance profitability.
Make informed lending decisions and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Develop and present comprehensive credit proposals for approval by the credit committee.
Liaise with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate lending operations.
Represent the company in meetings with clients, investors, and business partners.
Ensure all credit activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit management.
Analyze financial reports and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Prepare and present detailed reports on credit performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Credit Underwriting, or related field (CA/CFA/FRM qualifications preferred).
1-3 years of work experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and credit management, preferably with BANK, ARC, AIF, NBFC, or financial institutions.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and financial analysis software.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
