Sales Manager- SaaS Products

 

A combination of technical expertise and leadership abilities is essential

 

1.)  The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, demonstrating their ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets

2) In-depth knowledge of the SaaS industry and market trends is also crucial, as it allows Sales managers to make informed decisions and stay ahead of the competition.

3) Excellent communication and negotiation skills are vital for effectively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and closing deals.

4) Strong leadership and team management abilities are also essential, as Sales Managers are responsible for guiding and motivating their teams to achieve sales targets.

5) Should be able to define the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to assess the success of the Sales Manager. This could include metrics that are very specific to SaaS businesses.

6) Technical skills specific to the SaaS industry, such as knowledge of CRM software, familiarity with SaaS pricing models, and experience with sales forecasting

7) Work closely with the marketing team to do targeted campaigns to close revenue targets.

8) Bucketing customer pipelines based on their interests and doing targeted advertisements for them.

9) Planning & Strategic marketing activities with the Marketing and Channel teams for the end users and channels.

 

 Qualification:

 

1.    Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree

2.    2-5 years of sales experience in B2B enterprises and SME businesses. A proven track record for closing sales deals with large and mid-size companies will be preferred

3.    2 or more years of SaaS sales experience is mandatory, SaaS experience in B2B will be preferred.

4.    Experience with early-stage companies will be preferred

5.    Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with executives

6.    Ability to build a strong personal relationship

7.    Large account management or project management experience

8.    Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions

9.    Good in Objection handling
