Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to spearhead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions. This role demands hands-on expertise with the Salesforce platform, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate intricate business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Salesforce developers, guide technical decision-making, and ensure delivery excellence across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Architecture :
- Own end-to-end technical design and architecture for Salesforce implementations, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct in-depth technical reviews, code reviews, and design validation for all Salesforce development work.
- Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and CI/CD practices using tools like Salesforce DX and Git.
Solution Design & Development
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, detailed architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
- Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Design and implement complex integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Optimize platform performance through code refactoring, query optimization, and asynchronous processing patterns.
Team Management & Mentoring
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Salesforce developers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Promote an Agile delivery culture by facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Quality & Deployment Management
- Oversee deployment activities across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) ensuring smooth releases with zero downtime.
- Manage version control, branching strategies, and automated deployments.
- Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with Salesforce governor limits.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Salesforce Expertise :
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura.
- Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce object model, security model, and data architecture.
Integration Skills
- Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware.
Development Tools & Practices
- Expertise with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado, Gearset).
Agile & Project Management
- Proven experience managing Agile project lifecycles and leading cross-functional teams.
Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II certifications are mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Application Architect are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade Salesforce implementations.
