Business Operations Manager

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.Monitor and analyze operational performance to identify areas for improvement.Ensure smooth and efficient operations across inventory, procurement, deliveries, installation and post installation financial operations.Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and operational excellence.Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.Team Leadership:
Manage team of operations staff, providing guidance and support.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial recoveries for operational activities.Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.Analyze financial reports to ensure alignment with business objectives.Vendor and Partner Management:
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms.Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement risk management strategies.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity.Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and present reports on operational performance.Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments.Serve as a point of contact for operational inquiries and issues.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in pharma/manufacturing industries.Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and managing cross-functional teams.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in using ERP systems and other operational software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:Ability to work in an office environment and use standard office equipment.Occasionally required to lift and move objects.
Work Environment:This position is based in an office setting with occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, and vendor visits.Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet business needs.
