We have an opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst to join our finance team. Reporting to our Finance Manager - Commercial, this position supports the Commercial Finance Team by conducting financial analysis, developing property financial models, and delivering insights to enable informed decision making. Full-time position working Monday to Friday, based at our West Perth office Flexible / hybrid working arrangements supported including working from home We work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office Key responsibilities will include: Budgeting & Forecasting: support the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, including gathering data, updating financial models, and uploading data in planning systems. Financial Modelling & Reporting: build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to aid planning and performance monitoring. Financial Analysis: conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, translate complex data into actionable insights, perform month-end activities, and deliver project-based financial reports with investment appraisal metrics (eg. IRR, NPV, payback period). Stakeholder Engagement: communicate financial insights clearly, challenge assumptions when needed, and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders using a proactive, solution-focused approach. About you You are naturally curious and enjoy the opportunity to ask questions and provide sound commercial insights for your organisation. You have strong analytical and financial modelling skills and will also bring: Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting, (CA or CPA) and relevant work experience in a similar role Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the finance field Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems/forecasting tools Proactive and solution-oriented mindset Also desirable – experience within not-for profit, aged care, property development, capital projects or asset management environments, but this is not essential Working with Bethanie At Bethanie, we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people and customers.
