Product Manager, Ads Integration Platform/ Partner Integration

Who We Are: 

Wayfair is looking for an experienced product manager to own the platform(s) and programs that manage our Ad Integration Platform. These systems exchange critical advertising data bi-directionally to track and optimize campaign performance on hundreds of millions of dollars in Ad Spend. This PM will partner closely with marketing, other product teams, legal, and vendor partners to evolve our products to streamline signal & data sharing, while ensuring data quality and adherence to customer data privacy standards and preferences. You will establish tight relationships with our partners (e.g. Search Engines, Social Networks, DSPs) to stay ahead of updates, testing new features and troubleshooting issues. You will research broader market trends and business requirements to identify new solutions, product ideas, and feature enhancements to help drive our product development roadmap.

Effectively managing the reliable flow of high quality data between Wayfair and its many vendor partners is a critical component to our broader martech strategy. In this role you will have the opportunity to own platforms that directly impact the bottom line of the business. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop a product roadmap for our marketing signals / partner data integration platforms across a range of outbound & inbound implementations 
  • Work closely with the engineering team and ensure consistent delivery via effective product and sprint backlog management. 
  • In partnership with marketing, develop systems and processes that reduce time to market of new integrations and maximize marketing outcomes while balancing requirements on data quality & reliability, customer privacy, and security 
  • Establish strong relationships with vendor partners (e.g. Search Engines, Social Networks, DSPs); stay ahead of API and other platform updates, explore new features, and troubleshoot issues 
  • Lead regular audits of our data integrations to ensure quality & compliance; clean up legacy integrations to maintain control of Wayfair data 
  • Regularly perform market discovery; surface and apply relevant market best-practices into Wayfair’s partner integration strategy; identify opportunities for build vs buy 
  • Communicate regularly with leadership across both tech and marketing; translate technical and domain specific language into comms for broad audiences 
  • Maintain robust documentation on the current state of our vendor integration platforms 

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years experiences in B2B software/SaaS product management, or highly related Martech roles 
  • Understanding of common digital marketing tech/platforms and/or a strong interest in digital marketing tech 
  • Previous experience with digital marketing data integrations (pixels/tags, server-to-server, audiences, etc.) and/or major digital marketing publishers (Google, Meta, Pinterest, DSPs, etc.) a plus 
  • Experience working with engineering teams closely, prioritizing backlogs and providing domain knowledge to make the team more effective 
  • Ability to structure problems, develop clear hypotheses, and prioritize work against the largest impact initiatives 
  • Highly organized in execution; able to independently manage progress across multiple work streams in parallel while keeping the broader org up-to-date 
  • Proven ability to work across a wide range of cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; consistently keep teams updated on platform strategy and progress 
  • Effective written communication with a talent for simplifying complexity to drive alignment via product requirement docs, briefs, user stories, etc.
