Astrafin aims to bring in an enhanced cost-saving approach towards asset procurement and provide clients with tailored renting solutions.
Job Summary:
Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational processes related to leasing, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service quality. This role is essential to supporting the smooth functioning of lease transactions, customer servicing, and asset management in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lease Processing & Documentation:
Oversee the end-to-end process of lease initiation, from documentation, KYC verification, and contract preparation to disbursal.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, credit, and legal) to streamline and expedite lease processing.
Asset Management:
Manage the lifecycle of leased assets, including tracking, maintenance, and end-of-lease recovery or renewal.
Implement asset verification, inspection, and repossession processes as required.
Maintain accurate records of all leased assets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding operational issues, contract management, and payment-related inquiries.
Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve client issues and maintain long-term relationships.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including RBI guidelines and other statutory requirements.
Implement processes to minimize operational risk, such as fraud prevention, data security, and internal audit support.
Conduct regular process reviews and audits to ensure operational controls are effective.
Process Optimization and Reporting:
Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automate processes, and reduce turnaround time.
Generate and analyze operational reports to track performance metrics, productivity, and risk indicators.
Work with the technology team to streamline workflows and improve the lease management system.
Vendor and Partner Coordination:
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for asset procurement, maintenance, and recovery.
Negotiate terms, track vendor performance, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service.

Key Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in operations within financial leasing, banking, or NBFC sectors.
Familiarity with leasing products, financial documentation, and regulatory compliance in the Indian financial sector.
Education:
Open to explore folks from various backgrounds
Skills:
Strong understanding of operational processes, risk management, and asset lifecycle management.
Excellent organizational & operational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with leasing or ERP software.
Strong communication skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally with sales, credit, and finance teams.
