Job Title: Branch Manager Jewellery & Watches

The Branch Manager will oversee overall branch operations with a primary focus on Jewellery and partial responsibility for Watches. The role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, customer relationship management, and effective team handling to drive business growth and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales of Jewellery and Watches.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest sales strategies accordingly.

2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Ensure premium customer service and resolve escalations promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients.
  • Oversee customer engagement activities, loyalty programs, and repeat business initiatives.

3. Store Operations & Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations including stock, billing, cash, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with HO for merchandising, stock transfers, and product launches.

4. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate sales executives, floor staff, and support staff.
  • Allocate responsibilities between Jewellery and Watches team members.
  • Monitor staff performance, set KRAs, and provide coaching for improvement.

5. Inventory & Product Coordination

  • Oversee Jewellery inventory control including old gold, repairs, and product movement.
  • Monitor Watches stock availability and coordinate with vendors/HO for replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure zero discrepancies.

6. Marketing & Promotions

  • Execute branch-level promotions and campaigns designed by the Marketing team.
  • Suggest local marketing initiatives to boost walk-ins and brand visibility.
  • Ensure store branding and visual merchandising are up to brand standards.

  • Strong leadership & people management.
  • Sales-driven mindset with proven jewellery retail experience.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of jewellery products, trends, and watch categories.
  • Ability to handle audits, compliance, and operational controls.
  • Problem-solving & decision-making ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
  • 58 years of experience in jewellery retail, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exposure to luxury watches will be an added advantage.
