Procurement Manager
to lead our sourcing operations for
red dry chillies
in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
What Will You Do?As the
Procurement Manager , you’ll be responsible for:Developing Procurement Strategies : Create and implement cost-efficient sourcing strategies to procure red chillies.Building Supplier Relationships : Forge strong relationships with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and traders across key chilli grown districtsSupervising Field Operations : Oversee a team of Quality assurance Officers, ensuring on-ground execution aligns with procurement targets and quality standards.Quality and Volume Management : Maintain consistency in quality while meeting procurement volume requirements across multiple districts.Negotiating and Contracting : Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing and favorable terms.
What Are We Looking For?We’re seeking someone with:Experience : 5+ years in procurement, particularly in the spice industry. Experience with red chillies.Skills : Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.Technical Expertise : Knowledge of supply chain management tools and data analysis.Regional Knowledge : Familiarity with key chilli-growing regions and proficiency in local languages (Telugu, Kannada) is an added advantage.Mobility : Willingness to travel across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka for field visits.
