Role Description

Are you passionate about building strong networks and creating efficient procurement systems in the agricultural sector? We’re on the lookout for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing operations for red dry chillies in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.


What Will You Do?

As the Procurement Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing Procurement Strategies: Create and implement cost-efficient sourcing strategies to procure red chillies.
  • Building Supplier Relationships: Forge strong relationships with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and traders across key chilli grown districts
  • Supervising Field Operations: Oversee a team of Quality assurance Officers, ensuring on-ground execution aligns with procurement targets and quality standards.
  • Quality and Volume Management: Maintain consistency in quality while meeting procurement volume requirements across multiple districts.
  • Negotiating and Contracting: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing and favorable terms.


What Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Experience: 5+ years in procurement, particularly in the spice industry. Experience with red chillies.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of supply chain management tools and data analysis.
  • Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with key chilli-growing regions and proficiency in local languages (Telugu, Kannada) is an added advantage.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka for field visits.
