The Role

This is a senior-level managerial role, reporting to the CEO. Accordingly, the key expectations would be as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

1: Sales Strategy and Goal Setting :

·       Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in both industrial and government sectors.

·       Set clear and measurable sales goals, regularly evaluating and adjusting strategies for optimum results.

2: New Business Development:

·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial and government segments.

·       Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.

3: Client Relationship Management:

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industrial and government sectors.

·       Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their wastewater treatment requirements.

4: Bid Management:

·       Record bid/no-bid strategy for each opportunity, ensuring a thoughtful and strategic approach to tender submissions.

·       Coordinate with internal teams to prepare comprehensive and competitive bids.

5: Corporate Sales:

·       Develop and execute strategies for corporate sales, targeting large-scale industrial clients.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

6: Composting and Culture Supply:

·       Promote and sell composting solutions to clients interested in sustainable waste management practices.

·       Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely and efficient culture supply.

7: Sales and Marketing Activities:

·       Execute all aspects of the sales and marketing plan, including promotions, events, and advertising.

·       Leverage various channels to maximize visibility and reach potential clients.

8: Performance Tracking and Reporting:

·       Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing regular updates to the leadership team.

·       Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, leads, and opportunities.

 

Qualifications and experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

·       Proven experience in wastewater management, bioremediation, and environmental projects.

·       Strong understanding of government business, b2b sales, and project management.

·       Experience in ETP, STP, solid waste management, and composting.

·       Knowledge of TMC and contract management.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

·       Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

·       Familiarity with bid management processes.

·       Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

·       Willingness to travel as needed
