Drafting Vision and Charter for Engagements

  • Provide clarity on the objectives to be achieved through the buyer-supplier engagement
  • Devise a governance framework to ensure that the objectives of the engagement are being met

Ensuring Business Alignment

  • Ensuring alignment between objectives of buyer-supplier engagement and business strategy
  • Proactively communicating any changes in engagement scope and its impact to the service line leaders
  • The PMO Lead coordinates resources between the client and the ESO provider to ensure that projects have the necessary support and expertise
  • engage with various stakeholders within the client organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and to address any concerns

Executive Governance & Relationship Management

  • Forging and maintaining long-term relationships with all the different providers for effective Enterprise strategy and management
  • Consolidating and categorizing high-value vendors to drive spend effectively
  • The PMO Lead monitors the performance of the ESO provider, ensuring that service levels and KPIs are met
  • The PMO Lead acts as the primary point of contact between the client and the ESO provider, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
  • establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure that all projects adhere to the client's standards and best practices
  • Overall Stakeholder Relationship Management(Internal and External) : The PMO Lead acts as the primary point of contact between the Receiver and the provider, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships


Vendor Portfolio Strategy

  • Align with Central Procurement Team and ensure the adherence to Vendor Portfolio Strategy policies
  • Discuss the vendor portfolio strategy in internal executive steering committee meetings with the leadership
  • identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that may arise during the project
  • The PMO Lead works on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the ESO engagement

Escalation Management

  • Bring order, structure and focused management attention to situations which could otherwise result in customer dissatisfaction
  • Participate in dispute and issue resolution processes

Stakeholder Satisfaction Management

  • Managing stakeholder communication, perception and issues to ensure good level of program, project satisfaction levels
  • generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and any issues, providing insights to senior management
  • Steps in building the positive net promoter scores and other relevant surveys
