Role Overview

Director – IT oversees all the Technology operations, engages with C-suit, Senior leadership. Create and deliver reports and briefings and drive strategic IT initiatives and improvements. Though a leadership role, you must also possess strong technical skills.

What You'll Do:

Drive IT Strategy and Planning.

  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs

Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resourcing plans for operational and major capital projects that include Safety and Security elements.

  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
  • Control budget and report on expenditure.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of IT infrastructure operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Manage and optimize the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components.

Maintain industry leading knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security and Risk Management, Compliance and Privacy as it relates to Security.

Ability to articulate complex technology & risk management concepts to senior executives clearly and accurately portraying real risks and threats to the organization

Being accountable, project driven, results oriented, willingness to be constantly learning new things, open minded, ability to articulate sometimes complex technical security topics and articulate risks in a language that the business finds meaningful and use that information to make more informed decisions.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.

Coordination with ISMS core team to support ISMS activities and implantation strategies at the company.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related discipline.

Certifications:

Professional certifications are a plus CISM, CITM, CISSP, CCSP, ITIL, PMP, etc)

What are we looking for:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in a combination of IT infrastructure management, information security/application security, or Software Development etc.

5+ years in a leadership role managing IT Infra and Software Development teams.

In-depth knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, storage solutions, and virtualization technologies.

Knowledge of various regulatory requirements and information security control frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, SOX).

Prior experience managing a SOC and compliances across US and India is a plus.

Strong understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy and/or data security

Good understanding of Industry trends and emerging technologies.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate within the context of the intended audience, whether that be senior executives or highly technical engineering resources.
