Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic and detail-oriented individual, based in India, to join our Global Legal Team. The Manager, Legal Operations and Risk, will work closely with the company's General Counsel and business stakeholders at all levels of the company. The position will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal Team, facilitate change, and control costs. The position is remote, based in India, and will report to the company's General Counsel based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:

• Contract management: Carry out change management initiatives through process improvement and technology implementations. Lead tech integration and implementation projects with the existing tool, design the workflow, train the end users that results in better adoption of such tools. Optimize tool to store relevant information/contracts/templates and derive various reports.

• Vendor onboarding process: Work with the various internal stakeholders and facilitate diligence and onboarding process for the vendors through OneTrust and Coupa systems.

• Budgeting and Legal Spend. Lead the end-to-end billing process, by assisting in forecasting the budget, tracking outside counsel rate, auditing the invoices, and identifying the cost-saving opportunities.

• Knowledge management: Promote best practices for knowledge management, track regulatory
developments in the relevant industries and communicate the important legal updates to internal
stakeholders.

• Insurance: Develop and maintain relationships with insurance brokers and carriers to secure their ongoing support on insurance policies. Identify gaps in the insurance and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Assist during the claim process in gathering the required documents. Review insurance clauses in commercial contracts. Work with the insurance broker to obtain any additional endorsements.
Skills & Qualification Required:

• BA or BS required; Bachelor's degree in business administration, or certification in project
management preferred.

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or with legal project operations and management in-house.

• Prior experience with contract management, compliance and payment systems a plus

• Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others
while working in a cross-functional role.

• Proven track record of collaborating with groups (e.g., finance, operations, sales, IT) to set objectives and
produce meaningful results.

• Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines.
