Sr. Quality Control specialist

Job Description Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures in accordance with ISO standards and company policies. Inspect incoming materials, in-process activities, and completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Review construction drawings, material submittals, method statements, and test reports to ensure quality standards are met. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues. Lead site audits and inspections to verify conformance with quality standards. Monitor and report on the performance of the quality management system and suggest improvements. Mentor and guide junior QC personnel, fostering a culture of quality across the project team. Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors regarding quality matters. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively. Participate in internaland external quality audits. Required Candidature: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience: Minimum 10 YEARS of experience in quality control within the construction industry. Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects. Familiarity with local and international construction codes and standards Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of quality inspection techniques, material testing, and construction practices. Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools. Strong understanding of document control procedures. Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
