Job Description:

  • Responsible for CAD AUTOMATIONS (MACROS) activities in CATIA and UGNX, for 3D Modelling, Assembly and 2D Drawing.
  • Develop CAD AUTOMATIONS (MACROS) using CatVBA, CATScript, Catvbs, CAA, VBA, VB.Net and C# for CATIA and Java, C, C++, for UGNX, with minimum rework rate
  • Plan and Prioritize activities related to CAD AUTOMATIONS.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities both Internally (guide internal resources) and externally (manage suppliers)
  • Identify new opportunities for Automation to reduce Project Design Man Hours
  • Support Project Teams in the application of Macros in their projects.
  • Ensure replicability of Macros in different CAD Environments and Customers.
  • Daily fluent communication with: Methodology Team; Escalation to Manager; Project Teams; Suppliers.

Able to develop CATIA and UGNX AUTOMATIONS (MACROS) independently

Scripting knowledge on CatVBA, CATScript, Catvbs, CAA, VBA, VB.Net and C# for CATIA and Java, C, C++, for UGNX.

Powercopies & UDF creation process in CATIA and UGNX

Automotive industry & Plastic process knowledge highly desirable
