Job description

A skilled and detail-oriented Architectural BIM Operator to support our architectural design team in the creation and development of high-quality BIM models and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in using BIM software (especially Autodesk Revit) to accurately model architectural elements, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with project standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models for architectural projects using Revit and other BIM tools.
  • Produce accurate architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules derived from BIM models.
  • Coordinate BIM models with structural, MEP, and other consultant models for clash detection and spatial coordination.
  • Update models and documentation throughout project phases: conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Follow company BIM standards and project-specific execution plans (BEPs).
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure accurate and efficient design delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining BIM libraries and content.
  • Perform quality checks on models and documentation for compliance with company and client standards.
  • Support team in the implementation of BIM workflows and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting/modeling with BIM tools in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is a plus.
  • Understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
