Role:AVP – Presales & Solution Engineering Department:Presales / Solution Engineering Location:Jaipur (we will Prefer candidates from Rajasthan or North) CTC:20-25 LPA Role Overview The AVP – Presales & Solution Engineering is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end presales function, leading solution architecture, and enabling high-quality technical proposals that win deals and strengthen client confidence. This role blends business understanding, technical depth, and people leadership to deliver scalable, competitive, and value-driven solutions across all offerings of HabileLabs. You will lead the Presales & Solution Engineering practice, mentor the team, collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, PMO, and Engineering, and ensure that every proposal, solution, and client interaction reflects excellence, clarity, and innovation. Key Responsibilities 1. Presales Leadership Own and lead the complete presales lifecycle across all verticals (BFSI, EdTech, Healthcare, ISVs, Cloud, AI/ML, Salesforce, Web & Mobile, etc.) Oversee requirement analysis, solution discovery, estimations, SOW creation, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and client presentations. Ensure every proposal aligns with client goals, business value, and HabileLabs’ delivery capabilities. Establish frameworks, checklists, and templates for presales processes. 2. Solution Architecture Provide technical leadership on architectural decisions, design patterns, and integration approaches for complex solutions. Review and validate technical feasibility, scalability, security, and cost of proposed solutions. Drive creation of reusable architectures, accelerators, and industry-specific blueprints. Partner with engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, optimized, and future-ready. 3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment Work closely withSales ,Delivery , andPMOfor smooth handovers and accurate project intake. Support Sales in client meetings, capability presentations, workshops, and discovery calls. Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure proposals reflect real execution strategies and timelines. Coordinate with Marketing for case studies, pitch decks, and GTM collaterals. 4. Team Management & Mentorship Lead, mentor, and grow the Presales & Solution Engineering team. Conduct technical and functional training sessions to upskill the team. Set clear KPIs, performance expectations, and structured growth paths. Review team responses, proposals, and solution quality regularly. 5. Business & Strategic Contributions Provide input on pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market offerings. Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities during presales conversations. Work closely with leadership on new service lines, solution accelerators, and product initiatives. Maintain strong awareness of market trends, new technologies, and competitor strategies. Core Competencies & Skills Technical Skills Strong understanding of modern architectures: microservices, cloud-native, serverless, event-driven, distributed systems. Knowledge across multiple technologies: Web, Mobile, Cloud (AWS preferred), AI/ML, DevOps, Data Engineering, Salesforce, etc. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Expertise in preparing solution documents, architecture diagrams, and technical decks. Presales Skills RFP/RFQ/RFI response excellence. Strong solution estimation, costing, and SOW preparation experience. Ability to simplify technical concepts for business stakeholders. Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong client-facing presence with the ability to influence CXOs, product owners, and technical leaders. Team management, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination. Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset. Experience Required 10–15+ years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technology Consulting. Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role managing presales or solution engineering teams. Experience working with global clients and multi-vertical requirements. Strong exposure to cloud (AWS preferred), AI/ML, enterprise solutions, and scalable architectures.
