About the Role

VedPrep is looking for a highly driven
YouTube Manager

to lead and grow our YouTube presence. This role requires expertise in content optimization, SEO, community engagement, and campaign execution. You will work closely with faculties, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of launches, promotions, and student engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

Work with Category Managers, Batch Ops, Faculties, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of batch launches, orientation sessions, offer campaigns, notifications, and session planning.
- Content Optimization & SEO:

Ensure every video is optimized with relevant keywords, metadata, thumbnails, tags, and correct playlist placement. Collaborate with the design team for session graphics and banners.
- Community Engagement & Growth:
- Drive month-on-month growth in subscribers, views, and engagement.
- Increase average view duration through content planning and optimization.
- Moderate comments regularly (minimum 4 times/day) and provide real-time moderation during live sessions.
- Campaign & Launch Execution:

Oversee creative placement, session promotions, and handling of push notifications during batch/offer launches until automation support is available.
- Performance Reporting:

Deliver a monthly YouTube growth plan with subscriber, viewership, and engagement targets. Maintain trackers (daily, weekly, monthly) and prepare reports for bi-weekly reviews.
- Competitor Benchmarking:

Monitor competitor channels, creative formats, and trends to adopt and integrate innovative growth strategies.

Brand Compliance:

Ensure all video and creative outputs follow VedPrep's brand guidelines with error-free execution in SEO, OSGs, and campaign deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proven experience years) in YouTube channel management, preferably in EdTech or content-heavy industries.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and algorithm trends.
  • Experience in campaign execution, live session management, and community moderation.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and deliver error-free outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Data-driven mindset with skills in reporting, performance analysis, and strategy formulation.
  • Creative eye for thumbnails, banners, and video placement.
