Position Overview:
Phoenix Brokerage Inc. is seeking an experienced US Freight Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US freight brokerage and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage all aspects of the freight broker process.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
Negotiate US freight rates with carriers.
Coordinate and schedule shipments.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during transit.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in US freight brokerage, with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of US freight and logistics industry.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in using freight management software.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and an open-minded approach.
