Position Overview:

Phoenix Brokerage Inc. is seeking an experienced US Freight Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US freight brokerage and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage all aspects of the freight broker process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
  • Negotiate US freight rates with carriers.
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during transit.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in US freight brokerage, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of US freight and logistics industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using freight management software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and an open-minded approach.
