Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.POSITION SUMMARYThe Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in building and maintaining Edu Finance’s data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel. The role is a hybrid between data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.DataSupervise management and maintenance of data collection tools that are used by all Edu Finance departments (EFP, Education Quality, MERL)E.g., Fulcrum, Google Forms, Titus, SalesforceDesign, build and maintain robust ETL pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs).Administration and optimization of the Edu Finance SQL database on Microsoft AzureEnsure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflowsImplement and maintain data quality controls.Manage special data projects as Edu Finance expands into new areasBusiness Intelligence & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools for EFP, Education Quality, MERLConduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-makingUse Excel (including Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and macros where applicable) for ad hoc analysesPresent findings and insights to internal teams, financial institution partners, and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.Ensure dashboards and data collection tools are accurately reflecting the status of the programSpecial projects that require data analysis for the purposes of making stronger business decisions. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY NoneQUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).Minimum 3 years’ experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.Passionate about Opportunity’s mission.
