About The Opportunity
A growing organization in the Financial Services & Fintech sector delivering digital lending, payments and working-capital solutions to SMEs and retail customers across India. We build customer-centric financial products and look for relationship-focused professionals who can own client portfolios, drive revenue, and ensure excellent customer experience in the field.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients—build trust, drive retention, and act as the primary point of contact for account needs and escalations.
- Onboard new customers end-to-end: collect documents, complete KYC, validate eligibility, and coordinate timely disbursal or service activation.
- Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities to meet monthly/quarterly revenue and portfolio growth targets.
- Perform basic credit assessment and documentation verification; escalate exceptions and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
- Work closely with operations, risk, and collections teams to resolve service issues, reduce delinquencies, and maintain portfolio quality.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, produce regular reports, and use data to prioritise outreach and improve conversion metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience in relationship management, sales, or field operations in Banking, NBFCs, Fintech, or Financial Services.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, portfolio management, and meeting sales/KPI targets.
- Practical knowledge of KYC, documentation, basic credit evaluation and compliance processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable with frequent on-site client visits and travel.
Preferred
- Experience with SME/MSME lending, merchant banking relationships, or payments platforms; familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Excel.
- MBA or related post-graduate qualification and fluency in regional language(s) for better field engagement.
