They will have the ability to make sound judgments and solve problems based on their experience and expertise.As an OmniPOS Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for transforming client requirements into software designs and implementing them to meet their needs. You will work specifically in the specialty retail segment of the market, serving clients with a wide variety of businesses such as jewelry stores, traditional department stores, bookstores, general merchandise stores, and moreThis role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products and solutions that meet our clients' needs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.Key Responsibilities:Implementing OmniPOS software features with high quality, on time, and within budgetParticipate in and perform peer code and design reviewsEngage in traditional software development lifecycle activities such as documenting design and solution, coding, testing, and supporting the codeTroubleshooting technical issues in a
Microsoft Windows OS
environmentApply analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Candidate is expected to have work hours overlap during the US Business Hours (Eastern Time zone).Key Skills (Must-Have):Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and/or related field required.6+ years
