About This Role Field Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of field level activities of ABCF supported project titled “Swabhiman (Self Respect)” in Gogunda, Jhadol and Kotra blocks in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Field Coordinator will implement planned project activities within the approved budget and timelines with the guidance from the Senior Field Officer and share its updates with her/his supervisor on regular basis. Required Experience and Education
- Post graduate degree in Social Work / Rural Development.
- At least 5 years of experience in NGO sector, of which minimum of 2 years’ experience of implementing community level activities with supervision from the line manager.
- Strong experience in leading community level implementation and establishing rapport with the local community leaders, PRI members, etc.
- Knowledge of participatory community development approaches.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi, English and regional language, Rajasthani.
- Good computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Willingness to travel to remote villages and communities
- Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
- Previous experience of designing and implementing Education and Child Protection projects would be an asset.
- Lead implementation of project deliverables in the assigned villages and ensure high impact with children.
- Support the Program team in the implementation of the program.
- Supervise and provide support to Community Mobilizers in delivering their tasks.
- Build capacities of Community Mobilizers in the required areas.
- Supervise and provide support to Community Animators / Facilitators in delivering their assigned deliverables.
- Ensure the application of child-friendly tools during consultations and program monitoring.
- Support in networking with relevant government bodies, national/ local organizations,
- Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender-inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.
- Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the program activities and outcomes.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
