About the Home Room Teacher role
Ahmedabad International School is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic educator for IB Primary Year Program.
Specific responsibilities
Creates and plans trans-disciplinary units of inquiry from which lessons are taught and supports this with written planningDevelops and teaches a course of study according to the school’s grade-level scope and sequenceProvides a stimulating learning atmosphere within the classroomIncorporates the Essential Elements of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) into inquiry-based, constructivist learning experiences within the classroomCollaborates with other teachers in planning on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Ability to provide a dynamic and motivational environment to learners between the ages of 6 to 10 yearsExperience as an educator in PrimaryExperience as an IB PYP teacher is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills
