Responsibilities:
Training Development: Design, develop, and deliver training programs for library teachers (IB) focused on International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum standards, pedagogy, and best practices in library and information literacy education.
Curriculum Alignment: Ensure that training content aligns with IB frameworks, guidelines, and standards, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), as applicable.
Professional Development Workshops: Conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars to enhance library teachers' understanding and implementation of IB approaches to inquiry-based learning, research skills development, and critical thinking.
Resource Management: Provide guidance and support to library teachers in selecting, acquiring, organizing, and managing resources that support the IB curriculum, including print and digital materials, databases, and multimedia resources.
Technology Integration: Assist library teachers in integrating technology tools and digital resources effectively into teaching and learning activities to enhance information literacy skills and promote digital citizenship.
Collaboration and Networking: Foster collaboration and networking opportunities among library teachers within the IB community, facilitating knowledge sharing, peer support, and professional growth.
Assessment Support: Offer assistance in developing formative and summative assessment strategies aligned with IB assessment principles and practices, including authentic assessments that measure students' information literacy competencies.
Consultation and Support: Provide individualized consultation and support to library teachers on curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and assessment practices tailored to their specific needs and contexts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certification or training in International Baccalaureate (IB) education, with expertise in IB library services and information literacy standards.
Experience as a library teacher or librarian in an IB school setting, with a deep understanding of IB programmes and curriculum frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering professional development workshops or training sessions for educators, preferably in an IB context.
Strong knowledge of library management systems, educational technology tools, and digital resources relevant to IB library services and information literacy instruction.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and support educators from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and staying abreast of developments in IB education, library science, and educational technology.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
