Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Solution Engineer / Presales Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a solid understanding of ITSM and networking workflows, and an interest in AI-driven enterprise solutions. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and AI Researchers to deliver innovative solutions through research, requirements gathering, solution design, and rapid prototyping.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals aspiring to grow into Product Management or Solution Engineering leadership roles while gaining exposure to next-generation, AI-powered IT operations solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Research & Analysis :
  • Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities and improvements.
  • Research competitors, emerging technologies, and AI/automation trends in ITSM and IT Ops.
  • Translate research insights into actionable feature recommendations and business cases.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation :
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture business needs and user requirements.
  • Develop detailed PRDs, user stories, workflows, and prototypes.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product vision.
  • AI-Powered Development & Plugin Engineering :
  • Work with LLMs, APIs, and automation tools to build intelligent workflows, bots, and integrations.
  • Rapidly prototype using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI APIs.
  • Support internal tooling to enhance team productivity.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making :
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to monitor product adoption and performance.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis to address product issues and optimize workflows.
  • Leverage analytics to validate product changes and measure business outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Agile Practices :
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UX, Customer Success) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and stand-ups.
  • Document technical and business artifacts for easy knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
Required :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Presales, or Product Analysis in SaaS, IT Ops, or Networking domains.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating PRDs, workflows, and technical documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional product development environments.

Preferred / Nice To Have

  • Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or TypeScript).
  • Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for rapid prototyping.
  • Understanding of IT Ops frameworks, AIOps, ServiceOps, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in IT operations (chatbots, anomaly detection, automation).
