Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.Ensure maintenance of customer database.Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.Sales & Marketing PlanningAssist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization.Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to direct the Sales department to achieve objectives established in the Organizations Strategic Plan.People ManagementEstablish and maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad Airport.To ensure maximum cooperation productivity and guest service.Develop and maintain effective relationships with all the departments.Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of departments objectives and policies.Motivate and develop team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.Operational ManagementCoordinate all activities to maintain and increase business volume. This includes advertising sales promotions personal selling publicity community relations special sales projects employee training and guest relations.To identify new business by generating new leads.Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare Annual Sales goals develop working plans to carry out goals compare actual achievements against goals and hence take necessary corrective action.To meet or exceed agreed sales targets.Review internal promotion material on a regular basis to insure that they are consistent with standards set by the Management.Work closely with the Public Relations Manager to improve relations between the Organization and the society at large to obtain maximum media coverage of activities within the premises which are of interest locally and internationally.To maintain a productive and professional relationship with all clients.Submit monthly and weekly sales plan and market analysis (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.Maintain close contacts within the neighboring hospitality sectors with airlines travel agencies commercial houses private clubs professional associates etc to capture business.Develop and promote organizations image and awareness by direct mail campaigns.Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.Qualifications :

Knowledge and ExperienceDiploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management / MBA in SalesMinimum of 7

8 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience in the similar capacity.Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in English languageProficient in MS Excel Word & PowerPointCompetenciesLeadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizational goals is the most desirable management quality followed by honesty integrity ethical behavior tactfulness openness and cultural awareness;Ability to accept responsibility;Selfconfidence motivation drive and tenacity;Ability to enhance organizational performance;Ability to clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities;
