Receptibilities:  

  • Review the requirement documents, develop test scenarios, test cases for the product (EVT/DVT), hardware-software integration and document the test reports . 
  • Generate overall engineering test plan and it’s execution. 
  • Recommend and lead technological strategy, developments and improvements around system, software and hardware test.  
  • Promote a culture of technology and intellectual property leadership .  
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the value proposition and quality of the engineering deliverables. 
  • Root cause analysis, quality engineering and documentation  
  • Work with compliance leaders to help in achieving the certification for the products as per compliance like UL, IEC, EMI/EMC standards. 
  • Work with cross function team to plan project schedule, resource and time estimation. 
  • Mentor team to enhance their skills and knowledge and motivate them to overcome challenges and deliver projects on time with high-quality.  

 

Requirements:  

  • Testing experience – Software, Hardware and System Integrity for the UPS products, Testing of power electronics, automated control-based system s. 
  • Managing the bi-directional traceability – requirements to test planning/scenarios/test cases/test results. 
  • Drive test automation, independent verification and validation of electronic/electrical systems/sub systems/products  
  • Experience in XIL based testing - Model in Loop (MIL), Software in Loop (SIL) and Hardware in Loop using industry platforms like MATLAB, Vector, dBase etc. 
  • Experienced working with external test partners and vendors. 
  • Ability to work within matrixed environments. 
  • Familiar with electrical, power electronics, and analog-to-digital; have a good mathematical foundation and abstraction, analysis ability, strong research willingness and ability. 
  • Able to think and solve problems independently, diligent and conscientious, good at teamwork. 
  • Experience preferably UPS, Power supply, AC/DC Converters, Chargers product development and testing 
  • Working knowledge of Embedded Systems – Electronics, Firmware, Communication Protocols 
  • Exposure to Tools: Requirement Management and Analysis, bug tracking tools, Configuration Management etc.   
  • 12+ years of test engineering experience with electrical-based products.  
  • Focus on failure-analysis methods and system reliability a huge plus. 
  • Strong knowledge in power/electrical engineering; AC and DC power
